Painting Classes - Watercolour, Acrylics and Oil Painting

Wednesday: 9.30 -11.30am / 12 – 3pm / 3.15 – 6.15pm
Thursday: 5 -7pm
2hr classes $260 for 10 consecutive weeks
3hr classes $320 for 10 consecutive weeks

Come and enjoy a friendly relaxed atmosphere where you can learn to paint.
With 8-12 students per class, this course is for beginners and beyond.

Over the 10 weeks, if you miss a class, you can do a makeup in any of the other classes available within the same 10-week period.
*Causal classes are not available for Amber Emm's painting courses.

Pottery Classes - Handmade Ceramics

Weekly on Fridays 10:30am - 1pm
​$282 (including gst)
This cost includes clay, glazes and firings.
Over this six-week course you will explore ceramic Handbuilding techniques including slab, coil, and pinch to create and explore with clay.   
Learn the language of clay, slips, and glaze.  Experiment with creating your own ideas or follow a loose plan to build skills that increase your clay fluency.

*We recommend you purchase a beginners pottery tool kit for this course. This can be purchased from Kmart, The Warehouse, Gordan Harris etc.

Painting Foundations 8-week course

8-week course | 3hour sessions
Cost: $240/8weeks or $30/week drop in sessions
A materials list will be provided. 

Each session is broken into technique/artist references and individual supported painting practice. During the studio time I encourage self-directed responses as a way to explore your own contemporary visual expressions.

Themed weekly painting workshops focusing on historical painters and subjects, colour mixing, brushes and mark making, and technical support around the fundamentals of painting.

Tea & coffee is included.
