Susan Wellm 11th March - 5th April 2026 Opening night Friday 13th of March 5-7pm Main Gallery "All the content of my art is based on New Zealand landscapes and its inhabitants. I am inspired to prompt and paint the unique and living landscapes of Aotearoa, to show the variation of beauty and natural diversity surrounding us. To look, is to see and the reward is often personal. Some kaitiaki (guardian) are deliberately painted, while others appear when the piece is finished. This is life in nature, as I perceive it. Our place as kaitiaki, shares a bond with nature and its guardians, this is a partnership with a common purpose…. A future for all." SW |
