YOU&ME School Holiday Workshops
with ARTEA

​You & Me is a series of creative workshops designed for children and their parents or caregivers to connect, create and enjoy meaningful time together.

Each workshop offers a relaxed and playful environment where adults and children can participate side by side, explore their creativity and make something special together. Choose from Cake Painting, Soap Making, or Candle Making — three hands-on experiences designed to spark creativity, encourage connection and create lasting memories.

No previous creative experience is needed; just come along, get creative and enjoy some special you & me time together.

Saturday 26th September - Cake Painting
  • Cost: $70.00 for 1 child & 1 adult. Extra child $25.00
Monday 5th October - Soap Workshop

Music Workshops for Ages 7-12 years. School Holiday Sessions

AGES 7 - 12 years
​Cost: $75.00 per child per day
Join Michelle for a full day music vocal workshop in Week Two of the school holidays.
We work on vocal exercises and harmonies. As well as fun interactive activities on pitch, rhythm and dynamics.
​
​During the day there will be mini performances and different genre song studies as well as creating music, songwriting and making a basic recording to take home.
Included: Learn to play the piano.
All materials included e.g. manuscript, handouts, take-home recording and music artwork.

Bring morning tea, lunch & water.

The Kumeū Children's Art Club for ages 6 - 11 years

To ensure creative opportunities are accessible for all families, we offer a couple of spots in the 8-week Kumeū Children's Art Club course at a subsidised rate. (This is not means tested) Email for more information. 
For Children ages 6 -11

​Cost: $207.00 (includes all materials)

The Kumeū Children's Art Club nurtures creativity through self-expression.  With tutor Holly Manning, each term students will explore and experiment artmaking in this fun, safe and caring environment.

Term FOUR: Collage 
Experiment with painting, printmaking, and other techniques to make intuitive collage pieces. 
A chance to learn, play, and practise a wide variety of skills in the last term of 2026!

No experience needed, we’re here to learn and play. All skill levels are catered for.

LEVEL UP! 
​The Kumeū Children's Art Club for ages 12 - 14 years

8-week course for children aged 12 - 14 years
​Thursdays 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
​Cost: $184.00 Includes all materials. 

LEVEL UP is an extension of Art Club, a step up for those aged 12-14 years who want to continue creating in a nurturing environment alongside their peers (and apples). 
With tutor Holly Manning, students will explore a range of different art mediums and ideas in a creative environment. 
 
Start date: Thursday 22nd of October 2026

Term FOUR: Collage

Come along and learn how to make your own creations out of clay.
​Over 6-weeks Louise Wild teaches a variety of hand building techniques from start to finish with clay, as well as basic glazing skills.
Week 1-4: Making
Week 5-6: Glazing

Course costs include clay, glazes and kiln firings. We recommend purchasing a beginners pottery tool kit for this course. This can be purchased from Kmart, The Warehouse, Gordan Harris etc.
